Meet Dr. Yip
A PASSION FOR QUALITY
Dr. Yip is a dual board-certified orthodontist through both the American Board of Orthodontics and the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Alberta and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Midwestern University in Illinois. Dr. Yip continued her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she earned a Master of Science in Oral Sciences and completed her orthodontic certification. She is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Texas Association of Orthodontists, and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Yip is passionate about creating confident, healthy smiles for both children and adults. With a keen interest in the ever-evolving field of orthodontics, she takes pride in offering personalized treatment plans for every patient. Her approach centers on clear, compassionate communication and putting patient care first—something both patients and parents will appreciate.

Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Dr. Yip now calls Texas home and loves the warm weather and being close to her brother. Outside of the office, she’s an avid Edmonton Oilers hockey fan and enjoys exploring new destinations around the world from her travel bucket list.
Dr. Yip has a heart for service and has volunteered on a dental mission trip to Guatemala through Global Dental Relief. She looks forward to continuing to serve and connect with families in the local community for many years to come.
